La rosca por la que preguntas consiste en 3 filetes diferentes, tal y como muestra la imagen adjunta.
Con este tipo de rosca se consigue que en cada vuelta avance 3 veces el paso intentando mantener la misma superficie de contacto (entre husillo y tuerca) que con la rosca de filete simple.
